VICITMS OF FIGHTS FOR LITHUANIAN FREEDOM OF 1991 HONOURED IN PRAGUE

Today, on January 13th, windows of the Lithuanian embassy were lit by candle light. Those who lost their lives for the freedom of us all were commemorated and honoured here in Prague. Annually, the symbolic candle light in Lithuania and around the world commemorates the peaceful resistance of 1991 to the Soviet aggression, which contributed significantly to consolidate Lithuanian Independence.
