Strategies to strengthen Lithuanian image in Czech Republic discussed at embassy event
Nov. 18, at the Embassy of Lithuania in Prague a meeting between the members of the Czech media, academic community, nonprofit organizations and art management experts took place. During the meeting the issues surrounding the local image of Lithuania and strategies to tackle those shortcomings were discussed.
According to the Ambassador Edvilas Raudonikis, cooperation between Czech Republic and Lithuania in the sectors of economy and tourism would be more active and fruitful if Lithuania was more visible to public in media.
The event was organized to establish a more effective communication between the embassy and its partners to allow for a more coordinated event planning. Central to the discussion were questions concerning the communication methods relevant to a modern Czech society, stories that have a potential appeal to the Czech audience, the right communication channels and partners.
