Reconstructed Embassy in Prague Boasts Representative and Smart Environment
We are presenting the newly a reconstructed Lithuanian embassy in Prague. After two years of reconstruction, the Embassy is back in a building that combines elements of interwar architecture, folk culture and modern design that represents Lithuania and is inviting to visitors. Celebrations, seminars, business meetings and cultural events are planned to be held in the renovated embassy representation spaces.
Lithuania acquired the building, constructed in 1920, in 1993. Over time, the need for major repairs arose, and a reconstruction project was prepared to better accommodate the needs of the diplomatic mission and proper representation of Lithuania.
