Prague travels to the beginning of the 20th century to mark the 99th anniversary of the Day of Restoration of Lithuania‘s Independence
We invite you to join us in the 99th celebration of the Day of Restoration of Lithuania’s Independence and journey with us into the beginning of the 20th century.
We are continuing the tradition to not only celebrate this day with the community of Lithuanians, but to welcome the community living nearby the monument to a Lithuanian who instigated the independence movement Jonas Basanavičius. We are also inviting those who are just passing by and the children of the Lithuanian language school “Debesynas” will be attending as well.
The day will be celebrated with creative challenges, quizzes, Lithuanian food, and hot wine. Traditionally, we will join in song for the anthem of Lithuania by the memorial plaque commemorating Jonas Basanavičius.
We are eagerly awaiting your presence at Cafe “Double B”, Anglická 15, Praha 2 – Vinohrady, and are preparing a surprise for the day. Please be kind to inform us about your participation at vaida.nemeckova@urm.lt or by phone at 257 210 123.
