NORDIC - BALTIC POETIC CELEBRATION OF MAY

In homage to spring and the poetry of Karel Hynek Mácha, the Nordic and Baltic Embassies will organize a reading of Macha’s beloved poem May. The reading of May in our eight national languages will take place on 1 May, next to the Mácha statue on Petřín hill.

Welcome to listen to this reading in Danish, Estonian, Finnish, Icelandic, Latvian, Lithuanian, Norwegian and Swedish. There will also be information available about possibilities to study these languages in the Czech Republic.
