Minister of Foreign Affairs Zaorálek visiting Lithuania today
Today, March 10th, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic Lubomír Zaorálek is visiting Lithuania’s capital city of Vilnius. During the working visit Minister has met the Chancellor of the Government Aliminas Mačiulis; later he is scheduled to meet with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Lithuania Linas Linkevičius, Vice-Speaker of the Lithuanian Seimas (parliament) Gediminas Kirkilas, and the Chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee Benediktas Juodka. These will be opportunities not only to discuss bilateral Czech-Lithuanian issues, but also to exchange views on current key topics on both EU and NATO agendas.
Minister will also take part in an international conference, dedicated to 10th anniversary of European Humanities University – a Belarusian exile university – functioning in Vilnius.
