Lithuanians in Prague remembered Jonas Basanavičius and played in knowledge quiz

In Prague, on the day of restoration of the Lithuanian statehood on 16 February, dr. Jonas Basanavičius, who lived in Prague in 1883-1884, was commemorated, and the Embassy of Lithuania invited its community to an evening with a knowledge quiz. Players from Brno, students of Lithuanian language from Masaryk University, have also virtually joined Prague teams using information technology.
Most of the quiz questions were related to the history and cultural realities of Lithuania. The best was the team from Brno called Little Lithuania, led by doc. Vaidas Sheferis, dr. Phil., who lectures Lithuanian language at Masaryk University.
