Lithuanian Ambassador in Czech Republic meets the chairman of the Czech Senate

August 10, Lithuanian Ambassador to the Czech Republic Edvilas Raudonikis met with the Chairman of the Czech Senate Milan Štĕch.

During the meeting the political cooperation between the two countries was discussed, as well as the current state of the Czech political landscape. Štĕch commented on Lithuania’s exemplary recovery from the international financial crisis and commended Lithuanian efforts in seeking independence from Eastern energy imports. Both parties also shared their view on the current Mediterranean migration crisis, its effects on the European Union and the emigration issues in Lithuania and Czech Republic.
