JAN PALACH & ROMAS KALANTA TO BE COMMEMORATED IN MELNIK

We cordially invite you to the commemoration of Jan Palach and Romas Kalanta on January 16th, 3:00 p.m in Melnik – their life sacrifice in the name of freedom will be honoured at the memorial meeting by the statue of Jan Palach. Later, at 4:30 p.m. the documentary film by Raimundas Banionis and Andrius Šiuša “Children of the Fountain” will be screened in Masaryk Cultural House of Melnik (in Lithuanian language with Czech subtitles).
