INTERNATIONALY ACCLAIMED LITHUANIAN FILM “WANISHING WAVES” ARRIVES TO PRAGUE

Screening of the Lithuanian film “Vanishing Waves” was held on March 28 at the Hungarian Culture Institute “Studio Béla” hall. The award-winning sci-fi drama was presented by the director of the film, Kristina Buožytė.

“Wanishing Waves” is the second full feature film by the director, and has already claimed a number of international awards since its debut in 2012. It received a special mention in the “East of the West” category at Karlovy Vary, earned the best European Sci-fi price at the 2013 Sitges festival, and won the titles of best film, screenplay, director, and actress awards at the “Fantastic Fest” in Austin, Texas.

The event was organised by Artcam film distribution company and the Embassy of Lithuania in Prague.
