International Christmas Festival Bazaar earned 60 percent more than last year
On Sunday the Christmas Bazaar, organized by the Diplomatic Spouses Association, successfully raised money for charities. The whole profit of sales is sent to the NGO’s and projects in the Czech Republic.
On Sunday, November 24th, the annual Christmas Bazaar in Prague, organized by the Diplomatic Spouses Association, took place in Prague Hilton Hotel.
The International Christmas Festival is more successful for the Lithuanian stand each year. Due to generous donations and discounts from Lithuanian companies Pergale, Andrew’s Bakery, Zemaitijos Pienas, Ruta and Naujoji Ruta and a vast supply of the Lithuanian confectionery products as well as handmade jewelry and decorations, and due to enthusiastic buyers, the net profit of sales increased by nearly 60 percent this year. With the help of volunteers from the Lithuanian community and the Embassy staff who worked as a sales team the outlet was popular among Festival goers from morning until the end of the event.
