EU CONTEST FOR YOUNG SCIENTIST AWARDS A LITHUANIAN STUDENT

Sept. 24, in the award ceremony of the 25th annual EU Contest for Young Scientists, Edvinas Misiukevičius was honored with the biology prize for his project “Daylily (Hemerocallis L.). A New Method of Breeding and Cultivation.” Amongst 128 young scientists from 37 countries, four Lithuanian students participated in the contest.
EUCYS is an initiative of the European Commission that aims at enabling the young minds of different countries to compare ideas and admire each other’s work, as well as to compete with one another at European level.
