Embassy honors the victims of the fight for Lithuanian freedom of 1991

On January 13th windows of the Lithuanian Embassy in Prague were candlelit to commemorate those who lost their lives for the freedom of Lithuania. The annual symbolic gesture of lighting candles in windows around Lithuania and the world commemorates the peaceful resistance of 1991 that played a pivotal role in consolidating Lithuanian independence from the Soviet Union.
