14.09.2024. The Czech Republic and other Central European nations are grappling with severe weather conditions, including heavy rains and widespread flooding. Despite the preparedness and tireless efforts of local and national authorities, as well as rescue teams, nature’s power often proves overwhelming. In this time of crisis, the Lithuanian Embassy extends its heartfelt solidarity to all those affected. While words may seem insufficient, we offer our sincere support and wish the Czech people strength and resilience during these difficult times.
As recovery efforts are set to begin, the focus now must be on ensuring the safety of all those in the affected areas.
