EMBASSIES OF THE BALTIC - NORDIC COUNTRIES HELD A CONJOINED NATIONAL DAYS CELEBRATION IN PRAGUE

Continuing the tradition that started several years ago, and demonstrating close relationship among Baltic - Nordic countries Embassies of Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Denmark, Finland, Norway, Sweden and Iceland) held a conjoint National Days celebration at Troja castle of Prague and it‘s park 22 June 2010.

Members of the Czech Parliament and the Government participated alongside with the representatives of the Diplomatic corps and representatives from the Baltic – Nordic communities. The guests were addressed by the Latvian Ambassador Argita Daudze. Welcoming speech was delivered by the Prime Minister of the Czech Republic Jan Fischer.

Guests tasted Baltic - Nordic dishes and drinks. There were national brand drinks and Shakotis cakes on the Lithuanian Embassy‘s stand.

The event was attended by more than 800 guests.
