Delegation from the Ethics and Procedures Commission of Lithuanian Parliament Visited Prague

On 5-6 June, Rita Tamašunienė, Chairman of the Ethics and Procedures Committee of the Seimas (Parliament) of the Republic of Lithuania, and members Antanas Matulas and Ona Valiukevičiūtė, visited Prague. During the visit, the delegation met with representatives of the Senate Committee on Mandates and Immunities of the Parliament of the Czech Republic, the Head and Members of the Committee on Mandates and Immunities of the House of Representatives. In those meetings, Lithuanian parliamentarians looked into the experience in ethical aspects, reconciling public and private interests of the Czech Members of Parliament. The delegation also visited the Department of Conflicts of Interests of the Ministry of Justice of the Czech Republic.
