BALTIC & NORDIC COUNTRIES EMBASIES HELD A JOINT NATIONAL DAY RECEPTION IN PRAGUE

Continuing the tradition that started several years ago, and demonstrating close relationship among Baltic – Nordic countries -Lithuanian, Estonian, Latvian, Danish, Finnish, Norwegian, Swedish Embassies & Honorary Consul of Iceland-held a joint National Days celebration at Prague Contemporary Art museum in Kampa 13 June 2011.
Members of the Czech Parliament and the Government participated alongside with the representatives of the Diplomatic corps and representatives from the Baltic – Nordic communities. On behalf of the organisers the guests were addressed by the Danish Ambassador Ole Moesby. It was reciprocated by the President of the Senate of the Czech Republic, Mr. Milan Štěch.
Guests tasted national Baltic – Nordic countries dishes and drinks. There were national brand drinks and šakotis cakes on the Lithuanian Embassy‘s stand.
The event was attended by approximately 600 guests.
