Ambassador of Lithuania visits Brno for the Moravian Autumn festival
Oct. 14, Ambassador of Lithuania to the Czech Republic Edvilas Raudonikis visited Brno where he met with the Dean of the Philosophy Faculty of the Masaryk University, Milan Pol. The meeting was joined by the Vice-Dean of the faculty Ivo Pospišil, Head of the Linguistics and Baltic languages Ondrej Šefčik and his deputy Vaidas Šeferis. During the meeting the current state and future of the Baltic and Lithuanian languages department at the university were discussed. Later, the Ambassador met with the students in a lecture reflecting on Lithuania’s Central European history and its current Nordic disposition.
Durring his visit in Brno, Ambassador also participated in the discussion with the contemporary composer Juste Janulyte, who brought her audio-visual piece “Glasshours” to the annual “Moravian Autum” music festival.
