On 1 March, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania Gabrielius Landsbergis met with the Palestinian Prime Minister Mohammad Shtayyeh in Ramallah.
“We are witnessing the times of great turmoil. If we don’t help Ukraine today, there will be even more turbulence and much less respect for the rules-based international order,” Landsbergis said at the meeting with the Prime Minister.

On 23 February, Lithuania officially opened its Honorary Consulate in Piraeus, which has jurisdiction in the regional unit Piraeus, the periphery of Attica, and a group of islands in the southern Aegean - the Cyclades. The event was attended by the Minister of the Interior of Lithuania Agnė Bilotaitė and the Ambassador of Lithuania to the Hellenic Republic Lina Skerstonaitė.

On 22 February, Lithuania’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Gabrielius Landsbergis met with the Secretary of State for Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Affairs of the United Kingdom James Cleverly, on the eve of the first anniversary of the Ukraine war. During the meeting, the interlocutors stressed that Russia remained the biggest threat to the security of Europe and that we must mobilize all efforts to help Ukraine hold out against Moscow’s aggression.

On 21 February, the Foreign Minister of Pakistan Bilawal Bhutto Zardari paid an official visit to Lithuania at the invitation of Gabrielius Landsbergis, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania. This is the Pakistani Foreign Minister’s first visit to the Baltic states.
