Litevský velvyslanec Laimonas Talat-Kelpša míní, že Češi toho o Litvě příliš neví. Panuje podle něj přesvědčení o tom, že pobaltská země je „příliš daleko“. Upozornil také na fakt, že ruské etnikum je daleko početnější v Česku než v Litvě. „Musíme být neustále ostražití vůči Putinovým pokusům šířit dezinformace a destabilizovat veřejný pořádek v našich společnostech. For the first time in history, Russia was excluded from the Executive Council, with the majority voting for Lithuania, Poland and Ukraine.
