Students Introduced to Czech Society and Culture at the Meeting with Lithuanian Embassy
Lithuanian diplomats in Prague and the journalist Andrius Kunčina spoke to students from Lithuania about the Czech Republic
Embassy of the Republic of Lithuania in Prague each year organises a meeting for students who come to the Czech universities, and for the students of Baltic studies in the country. It is a great opportunity for students participating in one of the most successful European Union policies – Erasmus program, and other study or exchange programs, to gather and to be acquainted with one another and the personnel of the Embassy of Lithuania in the Czech Republic.
This traditional meeting took place on Friday, October 27th, and the ambassador of Lithuania Edvilas Raudonikis first greeted the students. Afterwards the journalist and the associate of the Radio Free Europe / Radio Liberty Andrius Kunčina held the discussion about the Czech society, history and culture. Students then watched the Czech movie The Elementary School (1991), and had a little party with traditional Lithuanian food.
